New Kambic OB 7/2 high temperature bath added to the lab
The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) updates to a SenseAnywhere temperature monitoring system
The lab team have successfully moved into their new camp.
Company Director, Philip De Freitas was recently evicted from his ground floor office. Fortunately he didn’t have far to go as his newly built office is situated just upstairs! This move has allowed for additional, much needed expansion in the calibration lab as well as dedicated work space for our service team.
The whole team are all excited about the potential that this brings and cannot wait to see the full extent of its potential in the future. The investment in this new area matches the high standards maintained in our existing high precision laboratory. The floor has been levelled, air conditioning has been added and the lab will be environmentally controlled and monitored 24/7 by a SenseAnywhere system. The new base is currently being used for desk space, meaning that the old desk area can be used to add further calibration equipment. However, in the long term, the new expansion has been planned to also maximise space for more high specification measurement equipment.
We have recently invested in additional calibration equipment to support the increased work flow, this includes another Kambic temperature bath, extra temperature reference standards and additional back-up equipment for our temperature fixed points. The team are always looking to improve our capabilities and the additional room provides the platform to move forward.
Other areas have already been earmarked for future development, including the marketing office, let’s hope they move us somewhere nice!
