Meeting regulatory requirements with ease
Withnell Sensors recently supplied the Royal Veterinary College’s Equine Referral Hospital and Equine Ambulatory Practice with a SenseAnywhere temperature monitoring system and have received really positive feedback from the RVC.
In order to meet and maintain the requirements of the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, monitoring and recording of environmental temperatures wherever veterinary medicines are stored is a continuous requirement. Implementing a temperature monitoring system is critical to ensure product quality and to ensure regulatory compliance.
The RVC had previously recorded temperatures manually three times a day using a standard thermometer and data loggers. This system is currently utilised by many veterinary practises but has its limits and therefore the RVC was looking for an improved system. The SenseAnywhere system offers automation and many upgrades, saving time and resources as well as providing an ultimate fail-safe setup.
The SenseAnywhere loggers monitor stock areas 24/7 meaning that out-of-hours and holidays are all covered and protected. Data is fed directly to the cloud and can be accessed on any smart device; this means that whether you’re in the next room or on the other side of the world, you can check on temperature conditions. Additionally, real-time alerts will notify the user/s the moment conditions fall outside of the set parameters - providing an essential opportunity to pro-actively manage the situation, potentially saving thousands of pounds worth of stock or priceless samples. Reports can be generated at the click of the button also making regulatory compliance a breeze.
