Credits are required for the basic operation of the SenseAnywhere system. Credits are exchanged for annual logger licenses as well as additional paid services such as SMS alerts and Voice dialling.
Each logger or AssetTag must be licensed to operate. Operation includes logger data collection, logger alerting and logger reporting.
You may have received an email suggesting that the balance of your credits is low and not enough to license all loggers on your system.
By filing in the short form below we can arrange an official quotation to be emailed to you for the required number of credits you require.
The SenseAnywhere system will only notify the accounting email address set up on the system (MANAGEMENT > GLOBAL CUSTOMER SETTINGS) when it determines that the credit balance is not sufficient to serve loggers on your system with enough licenses.
When you purchase credits, they do not come with an expiry date. The warning email from the SenseAnywhere system only recommends the minimum number of credits to serve seamless operation of the system. It is possible to purchase more credits than is required, they will merely sit on your account until it’s time for them to be consumed.

If you utilise the paid for SMS or voice dialling function, you should be aware that the credits assigned to the system come from one pool. The system functions in such a way that if an alert is triggered the system will send out an SMS or voice dial, this may bring the balance below the minimum required to license a logger. The logger in this case will not renew. It is important to keep several credits more than the minimum required to license the loggers if you are utilising the SMS or voice dialling function.
A worked example, if you have a 1 logger standard account system and a balance of 1 credit. If you enable SMS or voice dial and an alert is triggered the SMS cost is 0.025 credit per SMS or voice dial. This is subtracted from the 1 credit on your system to gives you 0.975 credits. The standard account requires 1 credit per logger per year. (1.5 pro & 2 enterprise) If the logger is due for renewal while the balance is less than 1 credit the logger will not renew its license.
Failure to license a logger means the logger will stop logging. Any historical data recorded will still be available for the duration of the account type you purchased. ( Standard account 5 years , Pro 10 & Enterprise 15) but you will no longer collect data or be alerted if an excursion occurs.
You cannot pay for a credit and get the data back for the time the logger was asleep. The logger must be re-registered to the system and logging will continue from the point of reregistration.
