FARRAR has pioneered forced-air convection cooling as an answer to the challenges faced when storing biological and human tissue samples and materials. Engineered specifically for pharmaceutical and life science applications, the Ultra Low Chamber(ULC) and 'Pallet' Ultra Low Chamber (ULC-P) are the sole -20°C to -80°C, forced air convection, ultra-low temperature freezers on the market today. The ULC line is perfect for bulk storage for both short-term and long-term demands. These ground-breaking ultra-low chambers enable quick, efficient, and sustainable product cool down as well as support all product containers (bags, bottles, and boxes of all sizes and shapes of pharmaceutical packaging). The chambers boast 5,380 litres of capacity in just a 190 cubic ft area, providing a 50% reduction in floor space on standard freezers. At +/-3.0˚C temperature ISO-certified ULC & ULC–P units provide incomparable uniformity, offer full redundant systems (controls, refrigeration airflow), as well as offering the fastest temperature recovery from door openings, going far beyond rival products. Designed with energy balance in mind, the ULC and ULC-P are smart storage solutions for life science applications that offer dynamic refrigeration control and low energy consumption (0.33 kWh/cu.ft.).
