Withnell Sensors partners with FARRAR™ to offer the Model 4000 Freeze Thaw Chamber to the UK market. A pioneer in forced‑air convection cooling, FARRAR™ developed this controlled rate freezing technology to address the critical challenge of preserving sensitive biologic materials while minimising ice crystal formation that can damage proteins, cells and biological samples.
The FARRAR™ Controlled Rate Freezer provides consistent, accurate, and brisk freezing and thawing of bulk materials and samples, ensuring consistent thermal control prior to cold storage. By tightly regulating cooling and warming rates, the system helps prevent damaging crystallisation, safeguarding protein structure and product integrity throughout the freeze‑thaw process.
