UKAS IRTD Calibration

Withnell Sensors is very proud of our state of the art UKAS accredited temperature laboratory. Our accreditation is maintained in accordance with the international recognised standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005

 

The laboratory operates from our main site in Withnell and provides temperature calibrations at the following points;

420°C, 231°C, 100°C, 0°C, -60°C and -196°C

One of our unique service factors is that we concentrate entirely on calibrating the Kaye IRTD, our calibration team have over 40 years combined experience relating to this instrument. We currently do not accept other devices for calibration. This enables us to focus our skills and expertise on this critical piece of equipment ensuring the quickest turn around and best possible customer service.

If you have visited our facility you will understand that we have invested heavily to ensure that the highest specification of equipment is used ensuring stability, repeatability and ultimately the best possible accuracy. Our calibration method duplicates that recommended by the manufacturer, a method which we feel best suits the instrument to deliver optimal performance. Our calibration software is bespoke, designed entirely for the calibration of the Kaye IRTD. Our software automates some of the calibration process therefore reducing the need for manual inputs and reducing the potential for errors.

The standard service for this instrument involves the collection of As Found data, a full calibration across the temperature range and an As Left verification.
